DESCRIPTION

Respighi muslin, in 100% nettle fiber, together with Tela Corelli has always belonged to the continuations of Ra-Ortica range, fiber from an Asian species called Ramiè and labeled RA-Nettle.

Both fabrics have a shiny and precious look, albeit with different weights; they are light and resistant but Respighi, weighing only 60 g/m², is the lightest and consequently the most veiled and transparent.

Our nettle fabrics are suitable for the creation of light, elegant and silky garments, the same goes for the creation of accessories for the person or for the home.

The transparent aspect sees Respighi muslin perfect for making garments and accessories to wear between spring and summer: stoles, foulards, multi-layered women’s dresses, elegant ceremonial garments or for more special occasions.

Nettle fibers are antistatic, absorb moisture perfectly, dry quickly and have antibacterial properties. For this reason, the fabric is perfect for making clothing, but also suitable for home furnishings for sheer, transparent and light curtains

Its texture is capable of giving a unique and particular touch to all environments.

Furthermore, due to its thin, strong and robust texture, it is often used in the kitchen for sieving activities: for the production of vegetable drinks from nuts, for refining jams and for creating any boiling filter.

And finally, it is also perfect for packaging small bags, wedding favors for any occasion and veils in general.

COLOR TONE AND PRECAUTIONS

The color tone of natural fabrics may vary depending on the lot.
The quality of the device used can alter the photographic preview of each article.
Before cutting and sewing, it is strongly recommended to wet the fabrics to avoid shrinkage after washing the finished garment.

DYEING AND FINISHING OF THE FABRICS

We offers the possibility of dyeing fabrics and samples. The first bath allows to dye up to 10-34 mts of a fabric.

Each dyeing process can be done on customer’s demand following R.E.A.C.H and G.O.T.S specifications.
