These designs nourish and nurture one’s journey through words, colors, symbols and bring intuitive awareness into our elemental, mythical and magical spiritual beings that enhances our planet, protects our planet’s overall well being and they guide us in our day to day lives.

Hand Tufted Custom Rugs- Divine Artisan Carpets- Nisha Designs

These are pile rugs in which the fiber is tufted onto a cloth backing.
These are the fastest to produce and comparatively very cheap.
Any design can be made in hand-tufted style.
The rugs are glued with latex onto a canvas backing for sturdiness
Usage life of 5-7 years
These rugs are very popular in retail stores like Target, Restoration Hardware, Pottery Barn etc.

Grams per Square Meter(GSM): For hand-tufted rugs, the quality is measured in weight, unlike hand-knotted rugs, where quality is measured in KPSI. The gsm denotes the density of the tufting.
Pile Height: The length of the pile
Types of yarns used: Various blends of fibers are used to make the rugs, ranging from 100% NL Wool to Indian wool, silk, viscose, jute etc. The price is variable depending on the type of raw material used
Design: Patterns/designs are a vital aspect with regards to the pricing

Beth Moon, a photographer based in San Francisco, has been searching for the world’s oldest trees for the past 14 years. She has traveled all around the globe to capture the most magnificent trees that grow in remote locations and look as old as the world itself.

“Standing as the earth’s largest and oldest living monuments, I believe these symbolic trees will take on a greater significance, especially at a time when our focus is directed at finding better ways to live with the environment” writes Moon in her artist statement.
