Summer sun, fairies, butterflies enchantment. And in enchantment, wonder. And in wonder, the stars and the moon. And in the stars and moon, magick. And in magick, Litha. And in Litha, celebration. And in celebration, blessings. And in blessings, love and light. And in love and light, nature. And in nature, strength. And in strength, Sun Queen- Have a blessed Litha, Summer Solstice. Many blessings.
Blessed be this season of Lughnasadh, And may the spirit of the harvest bring you peace, prosperity, and happiness. May your days be filled with the golden light of the sun, And your nights be graced with the gentle glow of the moon. May the seeds you have sown bear fruit, And may your hard work be rewarded with bountiful harvests.
Bread holds a special place in Lughnasadh celebrations, symbolizing the fruits of the first harvest and the transformation of raw grain into nourishing food.
The Ritual:
Bake the Bread: Begin by baking a loaf of bread. As you mix the ingredients, focus on your intentions for the harvest season. Think about the things you are grateful for and the abundance you wish to bring into your life. Light a Candle: Once the bread is baked and cooled, light a candle and say: “I light this candle in honor of the grain harvest. May blessings be upon this sacred space.” Give Thanks: Take a moment to reflect on the abundance in your life. Think about the things you are grateful for. Write them down on a piece of paper. Bless the Bread: Hold the loaf of bread and say: “I bless this bread as a symbol of the first harvest, in gratitude for the earth’s abundance. May it nourish and sustain us.” Offerings: Break off a piece of the bread and place it in the offering bowl. Do the same with a small handful of grains or seeds. Say: “I offer this bread and these grains in gratitude for the harvest. May the earth continue to provide for us.” Blessing the Drink: Hold the cup of wine, mead, or juice and say: “I bless this drink in honor of the harvest. May it bring nourishment and joy.” Take a sip and pour a small amount into the offering bowl. Sharing the Bread: Share the bread with loved ones or enjoy it yourself. As you eat, reflect on the hard work and blessings that have brought this food to your table. Reflection and Meditation: Spend a few minutes in quiet contemplation or meditation. Focus on the themes of harvest, abundance, and gratitude.
Closing: When you feel ready, extinguish the candle and say: “I give thanks to Gaia and the spirits of the harvest. May their blessings continue to be with me.”
Mata Toll- Herbiary One of the most beautiful gifts in the world is the gift of encouragement. When someone encourages you, that person helps you over a threshold you might otherwise never have crossed on you own- John O’ Donohue This week’s energy reflection is Burdock, Arctium Lappa. Burdock is a tireless companion, and yes…
Who you are on the inside is what matters. Your body, body parts don’t define who you are on the inside! Your body is merely a machine. The energy that is inside of you is what drives the body, form not the body. So this importance we give on how we look and what body parts we have or not has no relevance. A male can be in a female body and a female can be in a male body. It is the soul that you are defined by. A soul is a male and female spiritual energy being as one soul together. We have both feminine and masculine energy beings within us. It is not our job to judge who we are based on the body but to accept and acknowledge who we are and our role that has been chosen for you to play in the microcosm of the macrocosm that serves the greater good.
The soul he or she is the one that chooses what her or his form they want to be. Who are we to judge that? And who gives you the right to judge the form that a Soul, Divine Goddess, God has chosen to express themselves? Hmm? No you don’t have any right. The God is a female and male without one the other does not exist. And a God or a Goddess divine soul can choose whatever form they want to take to express themselves. All we have to do is look within, accept who we are within and then watch the Magick. No one will ever dare to tell you anything. The problem, the fight, the drama arises when we do not accept who we are on the inside. It is not other people’s job to accept us and acknowledge us. It is our job and then others will accept you for who you are. But you cannot go running, screaming, blaming others for not accepting you when you yourself haven’t accepted you or even acknowledged you. They may look at you differently but who cares accept and acknowledge that you are different. And that you have been chosen to be different, to be the change, to bring freedom from this limited mindset and to bring awareness and way of being to this planet.
How many of you love animals? Watch nature and are nature lovers? Look at nature and every species in nature. They have the most beautiful colorful bodies one can ever imagine that God the male and female goddess have created. Because nothing can be created or manifested single handedly. A female is spiritual form of a soul and a male is a physical form of a soul and together creation happens. So if you tell me there is just one God yes in my awareness the god is male and female so yes one God. But if you tell me there is just one male God then I would have to say we should not have the moon? Only sun. Why do we have a moon and a sun, day and night? Sun represents the male and moon represents the female. If you think a God is a male and he created everything is because he is the manifestor but the creator is the goddess, the female. So no a male God cannot create. And so which God are you following and listening to? Certainly not the one who is part and consort of the divine feminine. The one. All of them are divinely created and manifested by the God. The God that is spiritual and physical as male and female.
It is for my duty to serve that I am born. We are here to serve by accepting, acknowledging who we are, walk by example and to enjoy being who we are on the inside. Not to wreck our world but to live and be the freedom of expression.
This week’s energy divination reflection is Mistletoe. Mistletoe is a plant that is strongly associated with the oak tree and ancient druids of the celtic culture. Mistletoe symbolizes many magickal properties but for us it brings in a special message this week about adventuring into the magick of our heart and soul. It asks us to open our hearts to our soul. It’s through the opening of our heart is how we will be able to experience the magick of our soul and higher mind. What does your heart want you to be aware of this week? are you connecting to your heart? Do you know who your heart is or what your heart feels like? Journey to becoming soul is through heart. If there is no heart, there is no soul. And if there is no soul there is no life, creation, joy, happiness, love, trust. When we choose to be in control, take control away from our heart and walk away from our heart thinking I got this, I know best how to be and handle life is when things really go out of hands have you noticed? And Mistletoe asks us how is that going for you? It was you who made choices all along to be in control and walk away from your own heart. When you step away from your heart something has to step in to guide you so guess who gets to guide you? Ego. This is when your ego steps in and starts telling you how miserable you are and that you are hurt, lonely, scared, no one loves you, no one wants to see you happy? really? Every part of your life ingredients is then filled with people, situations, circumstances, jobs, career, relationships with no heart at all. It is not anyone’s responsibility to make you happy, or to love you. What brought you to this place is your own doing and choosing to walk away from your heart, your soul and choosing to listen to ego, conscious mind. Notice this week when you do focus on heart there is peace, there is love, trust, safety, sanity, abundance, joy and gratitude. Heart is the way of divine. If you are not connecting with your heart, how will you experience divine within you? How will you experience life of wonder and magick? Ego has no belief in magick, wonder, dreams, creation. Heart the home of soul is fearless. There is only acceptance. In acceptance there is knowing and in knowing there is trust no matter what life throws at me I will be fine because I am one with my heart and soul and this is my home. Right here in my heart where my soul lives and breathes through me.
If you having a hard time opening or connecting to your heart call upon the energy of mistletoe to assist you. And make sure to always give gratitude for their service. Heart is about balance. We take and we give back.
“I enter into the presence of Mistletoe with gratitude for guiding me for this week’s energy reflection and opening my heart and knowing of my soul”
Happy Holidays. Enjoy and we will see you next week.
Every thought, belief, belief system, emotions and feelings, every choice, every action one takes in life are affecting the environment if it is not positive or serve the greater good. That energy that one puts out there actually gets returned to you times ten fold. Hence we do our inner work. We connect to our…
This weeks reflection invites us to Retreat. The energy asks us to be still, slow down, pause and look within to our own sanctuary, our soul. Retreating, taking time out to meditate, walk in nature in silence and observation can be daunting right? When our minds are going 100 miles per hour of doing this and that, worrying about what happened in past, then worrying about future? Next 5- 10 years what will happen, months, days, hours? Am I a good person? Am I doing it right? Or have I got it all wrong? Hmm never ending story isn’t it? Notice how your thoughts never lets you be quiet? Never lets you stay in the present. Learn to be in the present without your thoughts. You can control your thoughts not the other way around. In the present you will meet your soul. Your soul is not in past nor future but present. For a change sit with yourself in silence and just breathe. Look at a leaf, blade of grass, tree, plant, observe and immerse yourself into its beauty and glory of its magnificence. Notice it’s shape, texture, colors. Watching nature is more fascinating than those constant yammering thoughts of ours. Only by focusing inward will one find peace, will one find oneself. Will one know what one needs to change, release, let go in order to maintain this peace all day everyday and to live divinely. Retreat to the oneness of your soul.
Affirmation: I am now one with the peace within me.
