Flame retardant textiles
According to the relevant norms all textiles delivered by DELIUS are permanently flame retardant. For all furnishing and upholstery fabrics DELIUS uses high quality yarns made from Polyester FR or Trevira CS. Textiles made out of these fibres contain a built-in safety feature. DELIUS textiles offer long-term protection, unlike fabrics which have been subsequently treated with chemicals. This small but relevant difference results from the chemical construction of the polyester fibre: the flame retardant properties are firmly enclosed in the fibre. They cannot be changed by exterior influences.

National and international flame retardancy norms
One is obliged to use flame retardant fabrics in almost all public buildings. These safety regulations, for example, apply to the public areas of hotels, schools, kindergartens, office buildings, caring homes and cinemas.The fire risk in buildings can be lowered substantially by these governmentally prescribed measures. Textiles by DELIUS fulfil the most important flame retardancy norms worldwide.DELIUS cooperates with various laboratories in order to carry out burning tests, in order to issue test reports, to obtain building inspection approvals and to organize certificates. Getting ready to be fully manifested to owning, accepting who she is, taking charge to serve the greater good of humanity and the balance as she walks the path of her truth. Every art has a story. No matter what form of art it is. It is a story of imagination. And here’s mine. Art was my to go escape from reality as a kid and then it became my passion, my career. But now there is no need to escape anymore because my imagination is my reality. I loved just to sit and paint all day long. Sometimes for hours and hours where I would not get up from my chair. It gave me peace, brought me a to world of belonging. Where I could be me and just paint away. Every painting, still life, textile, design I created has a personality, a character an imagination. No matter if I was just painting a flower, stem, Apple. They all had their own story to share. Preparation of my art materials excites me and is very important to me. My space where I would sit and do art, my wooden palette, my colors, brushes, water, a rag, tissue, the style and texture of my medium I am painting on. Everything even till today is very detailed and thoughtful. This preparation is my temple, my sacred place where no one could go but me. It was for me. Always there for me. Whenever I wanted I could go and be me. Be me with my paints and brushes and ready to play. Once I am prepared I sit and listen to my imagination, the story it wants to share about that thing or the person I am painting for. The mixing of colors, the depth of layers, the details, highlights, shadows, composition. It makes my paintings come alive. My art gives me purpose to live, hope, strength, put words when I didn’t have. It shared my happiness and tears. Yes. Art is just not a piece that we hang on the wall or any design on any medium. To me its a sacred friend, a place, a world only for you. That piece of art, design knows you and only you. It will always lift you up no matter where you are in life. And this is what I love when I create art or any design. And these are the stories I will be sharing. Hope you enjoy as much as I have enjoyed making them. They all speak to an individual I did paintings for and what my imagination told me about them. It was very inspiring for me to paint their imagination.
