The process of creating HempWood® Natural Flooring starts in the field. All hemp is sourced within 100 miles of the factory from local farmers. After the hemp is collected, a plant-based adhesive is used to bind full-length fiber hemp stalks. After the hemp stalks and plant-based adhesive are combined, the material is compressed and baked to form HempWood® Blocks.
From the Blocks, 4mm HempWood® veneers are cut for the top layer of the engineered flooring. For the substrate, a 5-layer PureBound® Hardwood Plywood is used. The plywood is ethically sourced from Columbia Forest Products, which is located in West Virginia. By using PureBound® Plywood, we are able to maintain our eco-friendly mission and support the American economy.
After cutting the veneers and ripping the plywood, our flooring is assembled with the help of our PUR glue line. After adhering the HempWood® veneer to the Purebond® Plywood, a tongue and groove profile is cut into the flooring.
The boards are then sanded, finished, and surveyed for any blemishes. Our quality control team hand checks each board and ensures that our flooring upholds our standard of hardness, durability, and beauty.

Hemp Wood® not only boasts impressive durability and a commitment to the environment. Simultaneously, Hemp Wood® Natural Flooring is safe for our consumers with ultra-low VOCs due to our no-added formaldehyde plant-based adhesive.
The engineered format offers ease of installation, multiple sub floor applications, and the ability to be refinished up to four times. Hemp Wood® Natural Flooring has a Janka Hardness Rating of 2,200 lbf, which is 20% harder than American white oak. The flooring is also CARB 2 and TSCA VI Compliant. In addition to the ultra-low VOCs, the fire rating is a Class 1, which is well above the commercial standard.
Hemp Wood® Natural Flooring is offered in three options: Site-finished Hemp Wood® Flooring allows for customization of any color and is the perfect option for cutting costs. Our Natural option highlights the natural look of the Hemp Wood® and is ready for installation. Lastly, the Custom Color Collection offers 3 color options: Ice, and Granite and Natural.

Sample Fee and Shipping cost
For some products we do charge sample fee and for some only the shipping cost. So look at our product line and lets talk.
Some product like is straight forward. Meaning you place the orders for your samples to nisha@nishadesigns.com. We have paypal, direct deposit anything you desire. Once you place the orders with us we will return the sample cost back to you at the time of your order. We appreciate your investment in samples and the more of you buy and use sustainable products eventually the samples will be free of charge like anything. But it is up to each and everyone of us to take this change seriously and shift our paradigm of investing in samples and not using manmade products that are harming the planet and take the responsibility and support the sample charges. This is temporary. As the demand grows which it will the samples will become free eventually. And we are giving you back your sample cost once you place the orders with us. So it is a win win situation.

Soul leadership to me has always been about leading by soul, being soul, souls awareness and truth. Leadership is who you are showing up moment to moment, who you are being in that moment, who you bring to that moment and who is guiding you in the moment. Who is leading your life? Is it your soul and higher mind or your human perceptions, human beliefs, belief systems, religion, cultural behaviors, choices and actions, ego driven responses, attitude, habits and patterns? What other people think of you and who you are and there perception of who you are and how you should live your life, who should control your life? Is this how you want to lead your life, how you want your leaders to make choices based there perceptions of who they are and what it should be like for them?
When I lead a non profit organization as a president, as a design director, as the owner of my own design firm, as a friend, co worker, daughter, girlfriend, sister, wife in all of my roles I was leading as Soul. Souls intuitive awareness, spirituality, magickal truth of knowing and being. That was it. I only needed my soul and everything became possible to achieve. I did not bring any association, affiliation, human family, relatives, friends society cultural religion know hows, in my choices and actions to my leadership and my life.
In my own life when I lead by heart and soul I have found magick, joy, peace, harmony, satisfaction, fulfillment, love, contentment, simplicity, spiritual awareness and knowing I am enough just by being my true self. And that is all that I have ever required to lead and be. My education knowledge comes from within me. Leaders are self taught, self aware from the inside out. My souls knowledge and know how is much more valuable than the education and knowledge degree I received from schools and colleges. That’s how important it is to manifest your own higher mind and soul to lead your life and every aspects of your life as soul divine beings. When your life is driven by soul and only soul there is adventure, there is magick, there is spirituality, imagination where everything is possible. Who wouldn’t want this? I know for the fact in my own life how grateful I am of my soul and higher mind for always protecting me and guiding me. Even when I lost my way my soul brought me back on my true path being one with her.
Our souls are leaders and we are the vessel through which our soul expresses her/his true self. That is what we need to bring on this planet by choosing leaders of countries who lead by example, who are aware of who they are on the inside. When we lead by example we are serving the greater good. And you and I being on this planet is our purpose to be the change that this planet requires, be the leader that our planet requires us to be by being our true selves. We lead by our inner truth, inner awareness of our higher mind and soul.

When the bird’s long life is nearing an end, flames engulf its body, and the being is reborn as a chick in the ashes of its predecessor, giving it the distinction of resilience, regeneration, and immortality. As Yulia Brodskaya began to apply the curled and crimped tendrils of paper to her latest work, she tells Colossal that the firebird portrait “started as a visual representation of a powerful feeling rising from the deep,” adding that “it felt like this portrait has been ‘channelled’ through me.”
Brodskaya captures the subtleties of individual expression and character in her elaborate portraits (previously) and depictions of flora and fauna. Through boldly colored papers that are rolled, folded, and layered, she reveals a flurry of feathers or the contours of a face in intricate detail, like the sense of serene contemplation that permeates “Samurai Dreams.” She wants every piece to send a message, suggesting viewers “pay attention to what emotion or feeling comes up for you in the first moments you see it—until the mind begins to dissect the details and offer loud opinions about why you like or dislike it. Magickal properties of a BOAT: As an artist and a textile designer I always design and paint elements based on who they are. And I love painting and designing boats, reading about boats, boat photography, museums of boats, boat stories. Just love its magick it brings to my soul. It has its own beautiful energy. It is a piece of art, classic, stylish, timeless soul. If you see a persons home having a boat painting, or a boat sculpture or handicraft of a boat you will always find a beautiful elegant energy to the home. It has a very beautiful sensual love that it brings to a home and a persons life.
It is interesting to note the energy and magick of a boat versus a ship? Quite a difference there. Boat to me is more personal than ship. Boat is more timeless, classic, historic than a ship. But ship has its own magick and we will talk about that later. But boat is my love. It is my soul boat, my soul vehicle. The magick of a boat to me is discovery, love, journey, destination, adventure, travel, explorer, afterlife, art, dream, sound, passion, forever, elemental of earth, air, fire and water, escape, home, study, reading, intellect, nature, lover, calm, happiness, knowledge, imagination, tales, stories, time, history, mythical creatures, magick, soul.
