Colorado is a modern faux leather with a wide and vibrant colour range. This includes 49 colours – from finely graded natural tones via light powdery to intensive colour tones.
Colorado meets current environmental requirements. It contains no phthalates (softeners), is antibacterial and disinfectant- and urine-resistant. With 400,000 rubbing tours, the faux leather is extremely hard-wearing.
With these properties, Colorado is suitable for headboards, bed surrounds and furniture for indoor, outdoor and health & care applications.
Colorado has a Sanitized® hygienic function. This property protects the faux leather against bacteria and mould, reduces mites and odours and is therefore anti-microbial.

High-System PU (Polyuretan) Modern artificial leathers are coated with polyurethane (PU) instead of PVC, as PU is much more environmentally friendly in production, use and disposal. Conventional PU, however, has the disadvantage that moisture and bacteria can penetrate through the openness of the pores and thus permanently damage the PU. A new manufacturing process enables PU artificial leather to be produced with closed pores, so that there are no fractures in the surface – it is much more durable and hard-wearing. Our artificial leathers SOLO, KANO, JAGO, ENA and ROMY have been produced with this special PU manufacturing process, called High System PU.
Our modern faux leathers are also particularly soft and insensitive to soiling. They are quick and easy to clean. With over 300,000 rubbing cycles, our faux leathers are durable and robust. Due to their permanent bi-elasticity, the materials can be easily upholstered according to all processes customary in the upholstery industry. The advantages of High System PU faux leather are:
free of phthalate
high and permanent elongation
particularly hard-wearing
easy care
insulating against cold
breathable
PU is recyclable
FAUX LEATHER
Romy has a beautifully grained, matt surface that can hardly be distinguished haptically from genuine leather. The leather look is supported by warm natural shades.
Ena, on the other hand, is modern and bold with its smooth, metallic surface and strong accentuated colours. In addition to the classic metallic tones such as gold, copper and silver, strong tones such as orange and red stand out.
Jago has a natural leather apperance; its slight vintage look makes it extremely suitable for the furnishing of a modern hotel. It is ideal for headboards, bed surrounds and seating furniture of all kind. The authenticity of the faux leather is underlined by the colour range which concentrates on natural and grey tones.
Kano is a faux leather with a fine graphically embossed structure and a modern metallic sheen. The colour range comprises metal tones such as steel, titanium, silver and bronze as well as black and white.
Solo has a large colour palette with strong colours paired with natural leather tones. Solo is particularly beautiful in combination with upholstery fabrics from the DELIGARD series.
COLOURLINE
Colourline is an imitation leather made of PVC which is extremely durable. It stands out due its good resistance to weather influence, UV light, water, heat, cold and chemicals. 70 colours offer extensive design possibilities.
The permanent bio-active functional fabrics by DELIUS offer freshness and hygienic cleanliness. Silver ions which are firmly embedded in the fibre stop the growth of bacteria both within and outside the fibre. They thus protect against infections like MRSA in hospitals. DELICARE fabrics also reduce the formation of odours caused by microbes.
Frequent washing does not reduce the function unlike with normal finishes. This is typical for DELIUS: the function is contained in the yarn and is not subsequently imposed by a finishing process; this also holds true for the flame retardancy.

It’s nearly impossible to visit Tunisia without noticing the beautiful doors. They’re everywhere. I often found myself lost in an ancient medina only to look at my camera roll and realize I’d spent the last 30 minutes taking pictures of doors.
In Tunisia, doors are symbolic reflecting the fortunes and happiness of the families living inside. They are generally built of palm wood reinforced with sheet metal. They are decorated with black studded nails to create complex geometric patterns. Occasionally some doors come with more floral patterns owing to the European influence.
When I visited Tunisia, I was just blown away by these doors. They’re so beautiful, and every city I visited tended to have its own unique style and color. Most doors are blue, but I saw yellow, turquoise, red, and white.
Some of the most common symbols on the doors are the crescent star, minarets flowers, and fir trees. Some of the doors have large archways allowing for a person to enter on a horse without dismounting.
Many will claim that the best doors are in Sidi Bou Said – the Santorini-like coastal town just outside Tunis – but I found that beautiful doors are located throughout the country. You just need to wander down the right side street to find the real treasures.
Most of the doors have two knockers – one for the men and one for the women. The ones on the left are used by the women, and the ones on the right are used by the men.

Cara DELIGARD is the classic and elegant equivalent to our DELIGARD quality Deste. Both are particularly pretty in combination with our faux leather Ena und Romy. They are suitable for the furnishing of upmarket retirement homes and classical noble hotels. The diamond design offers an elegant sheen thanks to its noble satin construction; it is being accentuated by a pearly weft effect. Natural colours with strong undertones dominate the appearance of the upholstery fabric such as Light Petrol together with Mauve or Ochre-Red combined with a warm Silver-Grey. Cara has an elegant brightness due to the natural colour range with tones such as Shadow-White and Silver-Grey. The colour range is being complemented by a deep Night-Blue.
Connor is an allround talent which is universally useable. It combines a natural wool look and the durability and price advantage of a polyester fabric. The polyester fabric achieves its natural wool apperance by a melange yarn which as a twill weave produces both quiet and contrasting shades. Connor can be used as an upholstery or furnishing fabric and it has a good sound absorption (class B). The above-average lightfastness is graded 5 – 6. A comprehensive colour range (28 colours) enables very fine colour gradations. Especially amongst the natural tones we can find selected shades such as Light Grey, Granite, Walnut, Desert Sand. Typical wool colours such as Deep Forest, Scarlet Red, Deep Lagoon, Burnt Sienna and Autumn Red enlarge and enrich the colour spectrum.
The high quality multi-coloured leno fabric Nexus is extremely durable. It is being accentuated by metallic shiny, dark yarns in the warp and has an elegant soft drape. In choosing the colours our designers were inspired by metal tones such as Silver, Grey, light Copper and Brass. Nexus DELI LIGHT is available in a width of 300 cm and in 6 colors.
